Before leaving, amends must be made
I thought to myself, as I regard the girl,
She was my self-made enemy, mislaid
No apologies, void, no apologetic pearl;
New life, no haunts, passing papers by
New life, more friends, the old goodbye,
Ashes reincarnate, to a past whereby,
Once more, I shall prosper, bygones bye;
Even still, guilt gnarls a hungered snarl
Yet, at this point, snarls hold no gnarls
Explanation: I never apologized to the girl that I bullied, I do feel guilty about it, yet it doesn't really affect me as much as it probably should. This is a modified sonnet, because, honestly speaking, sometimes words have no place. The herald was the ISEE, calling me to BLA.
